Soccer Update

Vanessa had her 4th game of the fall season today and they came away with a 2-0 win. Ness started the game with a goal in the opening minutes of the game. She stole a ball in the attacking third, chipped a ball over the outstretched arms of the keeper and into the upper right corner. Later, she felt a player hit her ankle and flopped, drawing the PK. However, the attempt was unsuccessful as she hit the shot right at the goalie. Julia Eldridge, an ex-player of mine who also plays on the Storm, ended the scoring with a shot from more than 20 meters out. Up next is Heber Valley Storm on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The game will be played in Heber.
